Let's face
it, we are probably all a bit busier
than we'd like to be. Between work, endless errands, kids,
cleaning, you name it, you hardly
have a spare moment for yourself. By the time you get
everything done, you're completely worn out. You simply don't
have the time, or the energy to give your dog the exercise and
attention he needs.
That's where doggie daycare
comes in. Whether it's just a few hours a week or everyday, doggie
daycare provides an exciting social environment for your dog to romp,
learn and play. It also gives your dog that special something to look
forward to all week long - a special day,
just for him! That's why doggie daycare is one of the hottest trends in
America these days! And, after a long day at work, wouldn't it be nice
if your dog were just as tired as you are? Our doggie daycare is also
great for real estate showings, repairman visits, parties etc. We are
open for daycare on Saturdays, Sundays, evenings and holidays for your
convenience. Be sure to click on the activities tab to read more about
all of our exciting learning and play activities.
Our daycare dog owners notice an improvement in social skills,
obedience, overall physical condition and attitude with just one or two
days of daycare a week. And, the physical activity your dog gets here
at Furpurrsons keeps them happy and satisfied even when they're at
home! That means no more furniture chewing or bouncing off the walls at
home!
Even if you are not leaving home, there may be
instances where we can be of service. Unusual working hours or lengthy
illnesses may make it difficult to properly care for your pet. Please
call to discuss how we may help.
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
Furpurrsons offers day care
for puppies, otherwise known as Puppy Kindergarten. In Puppy
Kindergarten we help reinforce puppies’ progress with housetraining,
socialization, and bite inhibition, as well as with basic obedience.
It takes a lot to raise a
great dog, and we’re your perfect partner. To facilitate house
training, younger puppies relax in
individual suites between potty and play sessions. “Our” puppies get
extra trips outside and lots of praise and treats for eliminating in the
gravel potty areas, rather than in their crate or room. They also get
lots of handling, which is extremely important in their successful
socialization with people. By playing with other puppies in the puppy
playgroup, they learn important lessons about good dog manners and bite
inhibition. In our frequent interactions with your little one, we also
reinforce basic obedience skills using positive reinforcement training
(lots of praise and treats). We encourage them to sit for greeting,
rather than jumping up, as well as working on the common commands of
down, stay, and come.
Puppies between the ages of
12 weeks and 24 weeks who have received two DHLPP shots and
Bordetella vaccination are welcome.
